The Whole New World

Finally, I got my facebook account.

I didn't anticipate the "compliment" that I receive for having the facebook account. I heard that facebook had a lot of my old high school buddies in Hong Kong, so I think it will be pretty fun to see how they look after 20 years.

復活是每天能支取的力量復活不是等我們死後上天堂才會發生的事情。復活是我們每一天、每一刻都能支取的力量。面對著譴責、壓迫、傷害，以及各式各樣的暴力，我們是捲入這樣冤冤相報的循環中，讓世界走向滅亡？還是我們甘願背起十字架，將這些代表死亡的力量吸收，靠著上帝重新復活？

Thank you Edmund for posting that. Christian believes in eternal life, but His resurrection can go further beyond than "guarantee" or "insurance" of after-death and a precious gift to heaven for all mankind, either His gospel is not just a ticket or admission to the heaven. Is about life transformation...imitate and follow Him by what He had done and complete.

Devotion

"...we have had earthly fathers who disciplined us and we respected them. Shall we not much more be subject to the Father of spirits and live? 10 For they disciplined us for a short time as it seemed best to them, but he disciplines us for our good, that we may share his holiness. 11 For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it." Hebrews 12: 9-11

Isn't the love here is more deeper than just say "I love you"? He wants us to share His holiness and glory. May be is not the love we want or we like to be treated...but it is for our good.
